Caregiver Assistance
Give a Caregiver a Break
By Tim

Showing Consideration
Working as a Caregiver is a huge responsibility and can be very fatiguing. In many cases it requires extreme patients and involves repeating the same information several times because the dementia patient simply does not remember getting an answer to a question. Not all caregivers are “trained medical professionals” and are friends and family helping a loved one with daily activity. It may seem very simple but offering to step in and simply give the caregiver a break, or a respite, some time off, is a big help. It also shows that they are appreciated for the caring that they care for a person in need.On the other side of this issue, you will likely find the time as a “Stand-in” caregiver will also be very rewarding.
